Which Senator Will Hold the Next Hearing to Ask the General Counsel of General Mills
to Explain Its Outrageous New Fine Print?
General Mills says that if you so much as visit its website or use one of its coupons you must give up your rights to take them to court should anything go wrong once you buy ANY of its products.
Are they kidding?
If you find something not so savory in your cereal, but you once got a coupon, or visited the General Mills site, say “adios” to your right to go to court?!
This must be stopped.
Read these reports here for details to understand how outrageous the corporation’s new version of fine print really is:

Say it ain’t so, Cheerios! Coupon fine print now means you surrender your rights
And read the update about how General Mills claims you can get out (perhaps only momentarily) of their terms here and what YOU! have to do! to get out: https://bobsullivan.net/money-and-life/cheerios-maker-digs-deeper-fine-print-hole-protesting-misinformation-gm-offers-another-gotcha/

Now:
Pick up the phone and tell the Senate that enough is enough. One-way unfair fine print that harms consumers must be reformed.
Either of these two committees should hold hearings on the fine print and ask General Mills’ General Counsel to explain why the company thinks they are entitled to take away the legal rights of anyone who buys their products?

It’s time for consumers to be aware of the harmful provisions that lurk in the fine print and to demand reform!
