“Really, this time you’ve gone too far, Facebook.”
Law professor Nancy S. Kim, author of the new book WRAP CONTRACTS, Foundations and Ramifications (Oxford University Press, 2013), writes at the ContractsProf Blog that Facebook has gone too far in its newly proposed policy terms. Professor Kim, in Happy Groundhog Day, Facebook!, notes that Facebook is proposing to ask children (without capacity to contract) to state that their parents have agreed to let these minors let Facebook use their “name, profile picture, content, and information….” Read Facebook’s redlined proposed changes directly here.
